Hairy assed cousins... together! <g>

For a while, Duke had been willing to do a shoot but the move to Las Vegas brought about a dearth of new models who could become SCM regulars. There was no pairing that would work that hadn't been done before and with few models of the right caliber making it beyond the audition process, there just wasn't a lot of opportunity for him to complete a video.

And so, in the course of the year or so while we were getting all the Las Vegas model recruitment kinks figured out, Duke ran up quite a tab in money owed for work not yet performed... over $10,000.

Like most, too, Duke needed more money rather than having extra lying around to pay things off, and so I came up with a plan. I told him that if he could get his cousin to do a shoot with him... interacting with him, I'd wipe out the debt and pay him a few thousand more. Of course, his cousin would get a substantial amount as well: It would be the most expensive one day shoot in the history of SCM, but real straight cousins together is a near impossibility indeed.

Given Tyler's previous stance on interaction, too, I figured it still wouldn't happen, but a few weeks later, he had agreed, the plans were set, and Duke and Tyler flew to Las Vegas on a Saturday morning.

"I'm stuck. I was trying to think of some word besides 'so' because I always say 'so' as the first of every video, but anyway... 'anyway'; there's a good one."

"So, anyway..." I continued, completely forgetting what I'd just said.

The guys immediately laughed then I went on talking.

"Anyway, you guys are both here today. Um, so Tyler you're uh... your video hasn't come out yet, so this is not that far after we first shot just your solo where Duke was in the next room, you know, but didn't actually see you naked. But, you know..."

"Didn't want to see me naked," he interrupted.

"No," Duke confirmed.

"I know, but today, today, today, this is like, I was trying to think, this is like the single most expensive shoot that's a one day shoot, ever."

I kept talking, getting them to talk about the steps they had to take to get there, and trying to get into their heads a little to see their thoughts about interacting with the cousin they'd grown up with.

"You had to make up this thing about telling your girlfriend that..."
         "I'm at the beach," Tyler finished my sentence.

"You're at the beach. Yeah."
         "In a different state," Duke jokingly added in.

"With my cousin," Tyler completed the thought.

"Yeah, so, so you had to get here and to get back and all that without like... so why didn't you two just say like 'hey, we're going to go hang out and we're going to an amusement park' or something like that?"

"She'd probably want to go," Duke answered.

"Yeah," I realized he was right.

"'Cause then you got more questions than I went to the beach and it was hot," Tyler said.

"'Cause we go to the beach all the time. It's not an irregular thing. It's a pretty believable excuse," Duke elaborated.

I continued talking about the circumstances that had gotten them to the couch in Las Vegas.

After trying to decide which weekend they could get away secretly to fly in from San Diego, there was also the issue of it being a holiday weekend and family events going on.

"So, yeah, you guys are going to some like some party of sorts, in like, with your relatives, tomorrow?"

"I'm wanting to go to the river."

"Yeah, they're probably going to go to the river and we're definitely invited, so we'll probably head out there this evening, and you know, spend the night..."

The idea that they were going to be doing some "not so straight things"™ with one another then head to a family function was pretty amazing to me. I mean, the relatives wouldn't know, but Duke and Tyler would obviously be aware that just a few hours earlier, when folks were asking them about their day at the beach, that they had really been rolling around together naked. The fact that this was Tyler's first shoot with another guy made it all the more mind blowing.

"This is like you're first shoot with any, like, male interaction at all AND it's your cousin AND tomorrow you're going to like some family thing..." For some reason, it still hadn't even sunken in that they were going to see relatives at the river that night.

"Throw him in the fire!" Duke joked.

We talked a bit more then I went on to show them a little something I'd had made for the occasion: matching shirts.

As they started putting on their shirts, I asked, "so, yeah, are you just like nerve... you just seem... I was expecting you to be like ten times more nervous than you are."

"Oh we... we drank already on the plane."

Knowing that the flight took less than an hour, I said that that couldn't have been that much alcohol, and they clarified that they had been drinking before the flight, too. <g>

Now it was time to start the activities.

After they changed into the t-shirts, I told them that I had something in mind which I thought would be something like what younger cousins would do... with a nudity twist thrown in of course. <g>

We loaded up in the car then headed to the DVD warehouse, and an hour or so later, a trampoline was built and the guys were jumping around inside it.

The plan was that they would beat each other with pool noodles and the loser of each round would remove an article of clothing until they were both naked.

I figured that would have a little rivalry going on in who would get naked first, and it was a bit tricky filming with all the bouncing, but the clothes slowly came off.

With Tyler laying naked in front of me on the trampoline, I just couldn't resist. I reached out and quickly grabbed his balls. He didn't seem fazed by it: Things were looking good for the rest of the shoot.

we headed back to the studio for a photoshoot.
